Own the ground you stand on
We incorporate locally before we sell locally. Where your data lives, who governs it, and who answers for it are settled before the first server is racked.
Our story
Independently incorporated cloud infrastructure companies, building sovereign cloud across emerging markets. This is who we are, how we came to be, and what we hold to.
Gewape Cloud Group is the shared name for a set of independently incorporated cloud infrastructure companies, each operating in its own market. Together they build and operate sovereign cloud infrastructure across emerging markets, so businesses, governments and institutions can run critical workloads with more control over where their data lives, how it is governed, and which jurisdiction it falls under.
The model combines locally anchored infrastructure, network control, regulatory alignment, resilience and local accountability.
The companies serve distinct infrastructure and market needs through three brands: Gewape Cloud Infrastructure, Metal on Cloud and Megabit Cloud.
Across our markets, we are building a locally anchored cloud ecosystem around one principle: Your data. Your region. Your rules.
It began inside Gewape Technologies, with a question we kept hearing from organisations across the region: where does our data actually live, and who answers for it?
For most of them, the honest answer was uncomfortable. Their data sat in places they could not point to, governed by terms written somewhere else, run by companies they had no way to reach. The word "sovereign" was on the brochure. It rarely survived contact with a regulator.
We watched one organisation lose months of compliance work when its "local" provider was acquired and the new owner quietly changed its residency terms. We watched another get turned away by a regulator that would not accept a certificate issued on another continent. These were not edge cases. They were the pattern.
So we did the slow thing first. Before a single brand launched, we incorporated locally in the markets we meant to serve. We built on open foundations we did not have to explain away. And we treated governance as the starting point, not a feature added once the marketing was written.
What grew out of that is not one company trying to be everything. It is a platform, brought to market through three brands, each built for a different kind of customer, all standing on the same ground.
One platform, three brands. They share the same open foundations and the same principles, and each meets a customer at a different point in their journey.

Sovereign cloud and regulated infrastructure for financial services, healthcare, public sector, and enterprise operating environments.

Managed colocation, bare metal, and dedicated infrastructure for performance-intensive and operationally complex workloads.

Hosting, Cloud Servers, business email, and domains for startups, SMEs, and teams that need a clear path from first site to production cloud.
We incorporate locally before we sell locally. Where your data lives, who governs it, and who answers for it are settled before the first server is racked.
Our foundations are open-source by choice. If a customer ever wants to leave, they can take their workloads with them. We would rather earn the next year than lock in the last one.
A contract does not make a regulator comfortable or a CTO confident. Presence does. We grow by being reachable in the markets we serve, and by being there the year after the deal closes.
Each company is incorporated in the market it serves, carries its own obligations, and answers to its own regulator. They share one platform and one set of standards for security, service, and regulatory discipline, and each adapts delivery to local conditions. When a standard applies, it applies in every market we serve, including each new one as it comes online.
We are still early in the story, and that is the point. The further we go, the more the work is judged by the same measure we started with: can you see where your data lives, and is someone you can reach accountable for it.
Tell us what you are working with, and we will point you to the right brand and the right next step. No commitment required.
